Lustmord, the solo project of Welsh artist Brian Williams, is often credited as the creator of the post-industrial genre known as dark ambient. His bleak, disturbing music often utilizes field recordings, deep bass frequencies, and ritualistic instrumentation, such as Tibetan horns.
