Matthew Schellhorn is a prominent English pianist specializing in music by Olivier Messiaen and in contemporary music. He is also an educator who is on the faculty at Cambridge University.
Schellhorn was born on February 4, 1977, in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England. He attended Chetham's School of Music in Manchester and went on to Girton College, Cambridge.
