On are a duo consisting of American drummer, percussionist, and electronics producer Steven Hess and French pianist, composer, arranger, and electro-acoustic producer Sylvain Chaveau. Despite being solo artists with an impressive range of credits and releases between them, they formed On with the expressed idea of composing pieces and working with a third collaborator.
