Pasquale Stafano

Pasquale Stafano is an Italian pianist, composer, and arranger who navigates and fuses jazz, modern composition, and tango. Beginning with 2002's Astor's Mood, he released four albums as a founding member of the Nuevo Tango Ensamble before collaborating with composer Jungbum Kim on music for the 2015 Korean film Chronicle of a Blood Merchant. He and his former bandmate, bandoneón player Gianni Iorio, then set out as a duo for releases including 2016's Nocturno and 2020's Mediterranean Tales.
