Biography
Saxophonist and singer Paula Atherton makes soulful, groove-oriented contemporary jazz with blues, Latin, and R&B flourishes. She emerged in the New York area in the early 2000s and has shared the stage with such luminaries as Gerald Albright, the Rippingtons, Hiroshima, and many others. Working closely with guitarist/producer Nick Colionne, she has issued a number of Top 20 Billboard Smooth Jazz songs, including "Sassy Strut" off 2013's Enjoy the Ride and "My Song for You" from 2018's Shake It.
