With five solo albums recorded from 1994 to 1999, Paulinho Moska is one of the pop artists who contributed to the fusion of MPB with pop music in the '90s, often including sambas and other genres in his varied repertory. Some of his hits are "Último Dia" (with Billy Brandão), "A Seta e o Alvo" (with Nilo Romero), and "Me Chama de Chão" (with Branco Mello/Fernando Zarif). Learning guitar at 13, Moska was taught by André Abujamra (Karnak).
