Biography
The production team of Phats and Small found much of their success in lending a hand to the European rebirth of disco and progressive house. Brighton, U.K., natives Russell Small and Jason Phats gained popularity with the dance singles "Turn Around" and "Feel Good." Russell began his DJing career at 13 when he started his own mobile DJ business, being escorted by his father to weddings and parties. Small acknowledges the business did not last because of his dislike of slow ballads and his inability to stop swearing over the mic. Odds against him, Small turned his focus to DJin...
