Sam Riggs

Sam Riggs may be a transplant to Austin, Texas, but with his band, the Night People, the singer/songwriter creates a dusty, muscular sound that's unmistakably Red Dirt country. Riggs demonstrates an inclination for big, poppy anthems (reflecting his early love of Garth Brooks) that separates him from the rest of the Red Dirt artists, but his defiant spirit remains anchored in Texas.
