Best known as the youngest member of the K-pop group Girls' Generation, Seohyun also made a name for herself as an actress and solo artist. An only child, she learned to play piano, violin, and traditional Korean drums while growing up in Seoul, South Korea. She was discovered by a talent scout while still in grade school, and made her debut with Girls' Generation in 2007, when she was 16. The group was so successful that in 2012 it spawned the subgroup TTS (short for Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun, its members' names), which released EPs including 2012's Twinkle, 2014's Holler...
