Biography
Gospel singer/songwriter Steve Green made his start in the gospel industry during the mid-'70s, singing backup vocals and playing bass with Sandi Patti, White Heart, and the Gaither Vocal Band. By the early '80s, he had gained a solo contract with Sparrow Records, and his self-titled debut album appeared in 1984. Earning Grammy nominations and winning Dove Awards, he averaged more than one album per year well into the 2010s, with Spanish-language recordings (such as 1987's Tienen Que Saber) and Christmas albums (1987's Joy to the World! and 1996's First Noel) added to his usua...
