Longtime friends and veteran R&B singers Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank formed a trio, dubbed TGT, in 2007. They worked together on a remix of Tank's "Please Don't Go," and appeared on Slim Thug's "Let Me Grind," but they didn't make their alliance official until 2012, when they signed with the Atlantic label.
