Biography
Fusing a gritty punk ethos with traditional bluegrass and old-time string band music, the Dead South hail from Saskatchewan's prairie-bordered capital city, Regina. After finding some success in Europe with their 2014 debut, the band broke through in North America with their Billboard-charting sophomore LP, Illusion & Doubt. Their third set, 2019's Sugar & Joy, fared even better, topping the Bluegrass chart and leading to the release of their first live album, 2021's Served Live.
