Los Angeles-based musical collective the Mowgli's blend the Laurel Canyon folk and pop traditions of bands like the Byrds and the Beach Boys with the quirky modern indie pop of bands like Fun. and Grouplove. Formed in 2010 around singer/songwriter Colin Dieden, the Mowgli's are a large ensemble that originally included members David Applebaum, Spencer Trent, Matt Di Panni, Josh Hogan, Andy Warren, Katie Earl, and Michael Vincze (who left the group in 2014).
