While his half-sister, Miley Cyrus, enjoyed a meteoric pop career in the mid-2000s, Trace Cyrus earned his own accolades as the guitarist for Metro Station. Born in 1989, he received some early insight into the machinations of popular music by joining his stepfather, country artist Billy Ray Cyrus, on a series of summer tours.
