Biography
Enigmatic blues pianist Wesley Wallace left behind only a tiny handful of records of his own, "Fanny Lee Blues" b/w "No. 29," both recorded for Paramount in Grafton, WI, in February of 1930. Not much is known about his life, other than the fact that he probably lived just outside of St. Louis, in Alton, MO, and that he may originally have come from Arkansas. His two recordings speak volumes of a prodigious talent who mainly worked as an accompanist to other players on their records. ~ Bruce Eder
