In an interview with "Inside Edition," Mariah Carey's older brother, Morgan Carey, had a few harsh words for his famous sister.

Morgan claims that Mimi has abandoned their other sister, Alison Carey -- who's a drug addict and was arrested earlier this week for prostitution. "Mariah doesn't care about anyone other than herself," he said.

The big brother also added, “I would hope Mariah could find it in her heart to forgive Alison her transgressions and step up, create a trust, let’s make sure Alison’s needs are met.”

According to Morgan; Mimi, Alison and himself once had a very close relationship. Alison even wanted to be a singer like her sis. However, she fell into a dark path and got hooked on drugs.

Morgan, who's a music producer and model, also says that he is a major reason why Mariah is the superstar she is today. “There wouldn't be a Mariah Carey today if it hadn't been for me,” he claims.

He's upset that Mariah isn't doing her part to help their troubled sibling.

A rep for the singer has commented that Mariah actually has tried helping Alison. "Through the years, Mariah has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars supporting Alison and her children,” a statement from her publicist said.

Morgan replied back to this: “I will always be puzzled why Alison, a heroin addict, has always been given large sums of money from Mariah her whole life. You can’t put large sums of cash into the hands of a drug addict.”

He even expressed concern for retaliation from Mariah and her Lambs because he's speaking out about this. "It's about protecting this fiction she has created, this image she has created, it's about keeping the darkest secrets covered up,” he closed.

The real question is, "Does Alison truly want help?" and as much as her brother wants it for her. You can't help someone who doesn't want it for themselves.
