Demi Lovato Won't Release A New Album Until 2018 ... If She Even Records One
October 4, 2016
Sounds like Demi Lovato's frustrations with the industry are slowly and surely becoming more and more apparent. Less than a day after the 24-year-old singer's diss against Taylor Swift (and her squad) surfaced, the former Disney star revealed that she's taking a break from the scene and apparently won't be releasing a new album until 2018.
On Tuesday afternoon (October 4), Demi took to the Twitterverse to announce that she's looking forward to the New Year. Why is the pop star so excited about 2017? Well, it sounds like we won't be hearing much from the singer as she's taking a break from music and the public limelight. "It doesn't feel worth it anymore. I'd rather do charity work," she wrote in another tweet.
So excited for 2017. Taking a break from music and the spotlight.. I am not meant for this business and the media 👋🏼

Apparently, Demi took to Instagram and told one fan that the follow-up to 2015's Confident won't arrive until 2018 ... if she even records another LP. "Won't sell anyways hahaha," she added.
