Taylor Swift's Debut Album Turns 10: 13 Lyrics For Real Life

It was an entire decade ago today (October 24th) that Taylor Swift released her self-titled debut album via Big Machine Records. It was the album that launched her career in country music, and gave us songs like "Tim McGraw," "Teardrops On My Guitar," and "Our Song," among others -- those T-Swift CLASSICS. The record was a great success hitting No. 1 on the US Top Country Albums chart, as well as No. 5 on the US Billboard 200.
Our dear Tay was only 16 years old when this album was released, and she wrote many of the songs during her freshman year of high school, many of them being about boys she liked or dated in those years. Her songwriting talent has taken her very far in her career, and today, she is an international pop star.
To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of T-Swift's debut album, we're taking a look back at some of the lyrics from its songs (13 to be exact because, duh, that's her number) that apply to real life situations today. We love ya Tay. Check it out:

"And then the time we woke up to find that summer gone." - "Tim McGraw"
2. When they get your pizza order wrong.
"State the obvious, I didn't get my perfect fantasy." - "Picture To Burn"
3. When you're trying to find the perfect pair of boots for fall.

"I've heard every album, listened to the radio. Waited for something to come along." - "Our Song"
6. When you're in line at Starbucks, but you're not ready to order yet.
