Last week, Michael Bublé had confirmed the devastating news that their 3-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer. Now, we are learning that the little one has liver cancer, and that he is now undergoing chemotherapy to battle the illness.

Us Weekly reports that Bublé's sister-in-law Daniela Lopilato told an Argentinian publication called Gente this week that Noah has cancer of the liver, and that he is now beginning chemotherapy. Us says, according to Gente, the chemo "is expected to last four months, and treatment would give him a 90 precent chance of beating cancer."

Daniela told the Argentinian magazine of her nephew's condition, "Cancer is a horrible illness, but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this. We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come, but it’s got to be done."

Michael and his wife Luisana Lopilato, who are also parents to their youngest song Elias (9 months), first confirmed Noah's cancer diagnosis in a Facebook message on November 4th. He wrote, "We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US." The singer also added, "Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well."

In fact, despite the fact that Bublé just released an album Nobody But Me, it sounds like he won't be performing anywhere, anytime soon. Fellow Canadian musician/producer David Foster recently told ET Canada, "I don’t think he’ll sing again until his child is well. I am certain of it."
