How Much Is The Biltmore Estate Worth??

Recently the Citizen Times looked up just how much Biltmore is truly worth. The largest private residence in the United States with over 250 rooms breaks down like this;

• The house is worth $37,000,000.00
• The acreage is worth roughly $64,000,000.00
• Then the hotels, restaurants and private residents on the property equal out to about $300,000,000.00

That isn't everything that the descendants of George Vanderbilt own but it is a good start.  As nice as it sounds to own all the property I would hate to pay the tax bill on it.
