Attention: Luke Hemmings' Dog Is Precious AF

In honor of National Walking the Dog Day (Feb. 22; yes this is a real thing), we need to celebrate the newest member of Luke Hemmings’ family: The 5-year-old bulldog-terrier mix whom the 5 Seconds of Summer rocker recently adopted with his girlfriend, Arzaylea.

The couple named their porky little lady Petunia, and they can’t stop sharing photos and videos of their girl on social media. The happiness that this little tub of pup has brought to Luke’s life (and his face) will get you all up in your feels. He is literally the equivalent of the heart eye emoji, basking in the glow of his new dog. Sounds Petunia, Feels Petunia.

Luke has truly embraced his role as “Dog Dad,” though we guess he’s also had some practice growing up with his family pup, Molly, in Sydney. Whether he’s tweeting about how Petunia’s snoring is keeping him up, or he’s taking Snapchat selfies with her (complete with the dog filter, ‘cause you know), it’s clear that nothing comes between Luke and Petunia. Human-pup besties for life. 

Of course, 5SOS is also hard at work on 5SOS3, as Luke manages to squeeze in some time away from Petunia to work hard on the band’s upcoming third album. While cuddling with cute dogs 24/7 should totally be a thing, fans are also digging all of the studio updates we’ve been getting from the boys recently. New album and new dog? Luke Hemmings, our friend, you are truly livin’ the life.
