Becky G Habla Sobre El Autismo En La Premiere De Power Rangers

Becky G ha caminado la alfombra roja de la premier de su película Power Rangers representando el color de su personaje: el amarillo. La cantante y actriz impactó en un vestido en tela vaporosa, con un estilo sexy de corte asimétrico, espalda descubierta, y abertura en la pierna.

La joven estuvo acompañada de su familia a quien le agradeció en las redes sociales por estar siempre junto a ella siendo su apoyo. La película que sigue los pasos de los 5 Power Rangers dentro de un mundo más moderno, ha tenido cierta controversia desde que se reveló que el personaje de Becky G sería gay. Este sería el primer personaje abiertamente parte de la comunidad LGBTQ en una gran producción cinematográfica.

Favorite part of this entire journey was sharing it with these guys. I can't thank them enough for everything that they do for me. 💛 blessed to have such a strong support system, it's like I have 5 best friends in all of them for life. They're the reason why I work so hard.

Becky también aprovecho para hablar sobre su hermano Alejandro, quien fue diagnosticado con autismo cuando era joven, diciendo: “Cuando Alejandro fue diagnosticado con autismo siempre me preocupe que sí tendría que luchar mucho para encontrar su lugar en este mundo. ¿Me preguntaba si él podría ver cuán especial y grandioso él es, en vez de verse como “diferente” entre los demás? Anoche creo que él se dio cuenta que es nuestro Héroe. Que él también es poderos en su propia manera.”

Now my favorite FAVORITE part of the night was seeing this guy come out of his shell and be so free. So many times while watching the movie I'd look over so see his reaction to the movie. To see him react and Identify himself in such a special character like Billy made me so extremely proud of the message of this movie. When RJ met Alex for the first time last night I cried. As RJ held onto my little brother in the biggest bear hug, I found myself overwhelmed with happiness and relief. As a big sister who looks after my siblings like my own, I was relieved because when I was young & Alejandro was diagnosed with autism I always worried that he would struggle to find his place in the world. I would ask myself if he would he ever truly see how special and amazing he is rather than just "different" than everyone else? Last night I think he himself finally realized that he's our Hero. That he too is powerful in his own way. That being unique isn't a bad thing. That he's special to so many people and inspires everyone around him. He is my real life Billy. 💙 I love you Big Al. Thanks for being my hero.
