Yesterday (March 29), Usher remembered his late stepson, Kile Glover, who passed away in 2012 from a Jet Ski accident.
If you can recall, the singer's stepson with ex-wife Tameka Foster was playing in an inner tube in Lake Lanier in Georgia when a family friend, Jeffrey Simon Hubbard, crashed into him with a Jet Ski. Kile died two weeks later from brain injuries and after being taken off of life support. He was only 11 years old. A 15-year-old girl was in the tube with him, but suffered nonfatal injuries.
Hubbard was later charged and found guilty of all five counts; which included homicide by vessel, reckless operation and unlawful operation of a personal watercraft.
Fast forward to 2017 and Usher is still feeling the indescribable pain of losing his stepson. On Instagram, he posted a photo of him and captioned it: "Though you're gone you still live in my mind. The only thing we ran out of is time. Since you left I ain't been quite the same."
He continued: "I wonder if you miss me, do I make you proud. Know you're watching me, I feel your spirit. I keep you right by my side. #Stronger Happy 16th Birthday, Kile$. We miss you."
