Prayers up for Xzibit! After battling from health problems for the past few years, the rapper's father died this morning (April 25).

X made the sad announcement on Instagram. Posting a photo of himself, his dad and a couple of family members; X captioned the post: "This morning, my father passed away. I am in tears and my heart is heavy. I don't have the words write now."

The "Criminal Set" MC continued: "Dad you are my hero. Thank you for everything you taught me, how you raised me, how you challenged me, how you loved your family. This is tough. I love you dad. #seperfi".

Over the years, Xzibit has spoken about his father's health complications due to diabetes.

Wrapped last night at 4am from @empirefox, hopped on the first thing smoking, to get to my father. The doctor came in and said he's stable, but hasn't had anything to eat in 10 days. Hopefully I can get his spirits up and get him to eat something. I'm just glad I made it here. #familyfirst

The rapper even blasted a few family members on Twitter, a while back, for not supporting his pops when he was in need.

At least now, he's resting in peace and isn't suffering anymore. Our prayers go out to X's family during this difficult time.
