If you needed a refresher of which stars actually own the music scene, then the 2017 Billboard Music Awards was the show to tune into. From Drake's eye-popping performance to Celine Dion's stunning 20th-year celebration of "My Heart Will Go On," Las Vegas turned up the heat for the Sunday (May 21) affair.

Missed all the action from the T-Mobile Arena? iHeartRadio has you covered with some of the biggest highlights of the star-studded show. Take a look below!

Drake Wins Most Billboard Music Awards Ever In One Night

All praise the 6ix God! Drake made history at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards by winning a record-breaking 13 awards. This was the most honors ever taken home by someone in one night at the awards show. Adele previously held the honor after she won 12 awards back in 2012. “I got my whole family up here,” Drake said when he hit the stage to celebrate this achievement with his father, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine and other Young Money team members.

Celine Dion Brings Everyone To Tears With 'My Heart Will Go On'

Celine Dion brought everyone to tears when she sang "My Heart Will Go On" in honor of the Titanic film's 20th anniversary. As Dion sang her heart and soul out, everyone in the audience couldn't help but be mesmerized by the emotional song and the singer's moving voice. She looked like an elegant angel, as she performed onstage in a beautiful, extravagant white gown. Dion was visibly emotional while singing, as were the many people watching her do so.

Nicki Minaj Kicks Off Show With Epic 9-Minute Performance

Nicki Minaj kicked off the 2017 Billboard Music Awards with an incredible 9-minute long performance of some of her biggest hits! Before she even hit the stage, dancers of all heights and ages danced to snippets of "Super Bass," "Beez In The Trap," "Anaconda," "Moment For Life" and more. Then, the Queen Barb finally surfaced and it was a wrap! She rapped and sang some of her other many hits like "No Frauds," "Light My Body Up," "Swalla" and "Regret In Your Tears." Lil Wayne, Jason DeRulo and David Guetta also joined her onstage. The night was a historical one for Minaj. Her Billboard Music Awards set was her first televised performance since she surpassed Aretha Franklin's milestone of being the female artist with the most songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Way to slay, girl! You did that!

Camila Cabello Hits All The Marks With Debut Solo Performance

Camila Cabello had a lot riding on the 2017 Billboard Music Awards when she stormed the stage for her debut solo performance without any folks by her side. No Machine Gun Kelly. No Pitbull. And, more significantly, no Fifth Harmony bandmates.

Thankfully, the budding pop star hit all the right marks for her set, which was presented by Ashley Tisdale and G-Eazy. Things kicked off with the singer rising from the ground to sing her mega-ballad, "I Have Questions." It amped up the dramatics, but also heard Cabello pushing her own vocal perimeters to fantastic ends. Shortly afterward, the stage abruptly went black and revealed a fiery set with background dancers. After ripping off her oversized dress, the singer revealed a sparkling gold mini-dress and went on to deliver a choreographed dance break and, of course, plenty of ad-libs.

Miley Cyrus Debuts 'Malibu' On Live TV

Even though she offered KIIS FM's Wango Tango with the debut performance of the breezy pop/rock track, her set on Sunday night saw Miley Cyrus unleash the television debut performance of the song. Donning an all-white ensemble and oversized hat, the 24-year pop titan went for a simple approach, bringing "Malibu" to life with a multi-person band and backdrop with balloons similar to her music video. It wasn't long before balloons fell from the ceiling, offering viewers with yet another reminder of the G-friendly aesthetics of Miley 2017. Towards the end of the performance, we also saw Miley choke up a bit, which makes the feel-good energy of "Malibu" that much more authentic.

Diddy & Biggie Smalls' Son Remember Late Rapper

Diddy remembered his dear friend and late Bad Boy artist The Notorious B.I.G. on what would've been Biggie's 45th birthday. Puff first hit that stage and started speaking about the beginning of Bad Boy Records with his number one signee. "It all started with The Notorious B.I.G., B.I.G sold over 25 million records worldwide. His Ready To Die album, Life After Death albums, classic...He changed the game of hip hop forever," Puff said. "Biggie was the best rapper I ever had a chance to work with..."

Diddy then brought out Biggie's son, CJ Wallace -- whose mother is Faith Evans, and the late rapper's son added: "Good evening, everybody. I know my father is looking down on all of us tonight and all of this love and support. My sister (T'yanna Wallace) will continue to carry on his name with tremendous pride and live my life by his words." Then, Puff premiered the trailer of his Bad Boy documentary Can't Stop Won't Stop, which is scheduled to drop June 25.

Drake's Hot Performance In Bellagio's Fountain

Drake's performance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards gave us that much More Life -- literally. The Toronto recording artist rapped one of the smashes from his latest project “Gyalchester” onstage. Before the show even started, fans caught Drizzy rehearsing for his set. He was filmed performing in the Bellagio Fountain by standing on a platform that was surrounded by water, as pyrotechnics popped off all around him. During the awards show, we saw this in full effect and it was definitely a lit experience to watch. Drizzy turned up in the middle of the foundation to his hit track and we didn't want the show to be over. We were feeling him 100%, especially when he started grooving up and down his water-surrounded stage, as flames went off around him...and came out of his mouth.

Cher Receives 'Icon' Award, Reminds Us All To 'Believe' Again

Cher also took to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for a show-stopping reminder of her timeless influence on the pop music landscape.

"I want to thank my mom. Because when I was really young, my mom said, 'You're not going to be the smartest. You're not going to be the prettiest. You're not going to be the most talented, but you will be special,'" Cher said at the podium as the receipting of this year's Icon Award. "I have had so much help. I've had the greatest people to work with...I think luck has so much to do with my success. I think it was mostly luck and a little bit of something thrown in."

Always the showgirl, Cher also offered the crowd with an explosive rendition of her 1998 smash, "Believe," as well as her 1989 hit, "If I Could Turn Back Time." During the latter portion of the set, she went into her closet and put on her black sequin bodysuit, which she famously wore in the song's music video, and it was no surprise that she thrilled. She is, after all, no stranger to the Sin City strip. Just ask the thousands of attendees of her Vegas residency, which started back in 2008.

Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds Honors Chris Cornell

Imagine Dragons honored the late, great Chris Cornell, who committed suicide last week in Detroit, during the show. "Although tonight is a time to celebrate the music and artist of the past year, it's also a time to recall a member of our community we lost this past week," Imagine Dragons' frontman Dan Reynolds told the crowd. "Soundgarden and Audioslave's Chris Cornell was a true innovator, a musical architecture and a pioneer on the cunning edge of the Seattle grunge movement. He was a prolific songwriter, a legendary performer and a singer, who had a voice for the ages, and a Philanthropist, whose Chris & Vicky foundation helped so many children around the world."

Lorde's "Green Light" Karaoke Night Out

For her Billboard Music Awards performance, Lorde performed her single "Green Light" from her upcoming sophomore studio album Melodrama, and showed us all what a night out at the karaoke bar looks like with her. SPOILER ALERT: IT'S AWESOME.

Singing to a retro box TV with her "Green Light" lyrics displayed across it, Lorde began to sing her hit single, as some (very lucky) friends on stage watched on. THEN, she kicked things up a notch, took off her jacket, and those Lorde dance moves that we all absolutely LIVE FOR emerged once again. We seriously missed them.

John Legend & Florida Georgia Line's "H.O.L.Y." Duet

2017 Billboard Music Awards - Show

John Legend and Florida Georgia Line teamed up for a very special performance during this year's Billboard Music Awards. The R&B star and country duo performed a duet that was simply heavenly. Or is it "H.O.L.Y."? Sitting solo on stage at a grand piano, John performed his song "Surefire" from his most recent album Darkness and Light. Then, Florida Georgia Line appeared and started singing their hit "H.O.L.Y." from their Dig Your Roots album. As the duo sang "H.O.L.Y.," John played the piano, until he too joined the guys vocally for their on-stage duet.

Bruno Mars Makes Our Hearts Burst

Bruno Mars gave one of the smoothest performances at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. The singer/songwriter sang one of his 24K Magic smashes "Versace On The Floor." Mars performed for the Billboard Music Awards via satellite because he was actually performing at a concert in Amsterdam at the same time. While onstage, the recording artist melted all of our hearts with his vocals. The Rhythm and Blues inspired single sounded as sensual as ever, as the star belted it out with feeling for his adoring fans watching him. It was almost as if he was directly singing it us! Viewers from the awards show, as well as Mars' audience in Amsterdam couldn't get enough of the moment. It was truly magic -- 24K style.
