Lorde's Billboard Music Awards Performance Was A Karaoke Bar Dream

The next time Lorde goes out for Karaoke -- WE WANT AN INVITE.  

For her Billboard Music Awards performance, Lorde performed her single "Green Light" from her upcoming sophomore studio album Melodrama, and showed us all what a night out at the karaoke bar looks like with her. SPOILER ALERT: IT'S AWESOME.

Singing to a retro box TV with her "Green Light" lyrics displayed across it, Lorde began to sing her hit single, as some (very lucky) friends on stage watched on.

THEN, she kicked things up a notch, took off her jacket, and those Lorde dance moves that we all absolutely LIVE FOR emerged. We seriously missed them.

She also took the time to serenade her gal pal. FOMO.

And then, of course, she closed out her performance with some more fabulous dance moves. Karaoke night with Lorde looks like the absolute greatest time EVER.

EVER.

Lorde's Melodrama officially drops on June 16th via Republic Records. The album includes "Green Light," and "Liability" (which she released as a promotional single after the record was available to pre-order). We can't wait to hear the whole thing!
