Former White House Aide Asked For Information In Russia Probe

A former White House communications aide is being drawn into the House Russia investigation.  The House Intelligence Committee reached out to former Trump surrogate communications director Boris Epshteyn.  Epshteyn's lawyer called the request broad and preliminary.  The attorney also notes that it's a voluntary request and that Epshteyn hasn't been subpoenaed.  His camp has asked the committee some follow-up questions to determine whether he will comply.

The House and Senate Intelligence Committees are investigating Russia's meddling in the U.S. election, as well as any links between Russia and the Trump campaign.
