Researchers in Kansas made a list of the most important invention from all 50 states.  

Some of the biggest ones: 

  • The Internet in Massachusetts 
  • The iPhone in California 
  • The assembly line in Michigan 
  • The automobile in Ohio.

So what is Virginia's most important invention??

  • Camouflage (the tree and bark variety) It was invented in 1975, by Jim Crumley.
