In promotion for her just-released album, hopeless fountain kingdom, Halsey stopped by iHeartRadio for an Ask Anything chat and went into the inspiration behind her album title and drinking at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards. However, the real nugget from her time in front of the camera revolved around her last name. 

Halsey, born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, decided on her stage name because it's an anagram of her first name as well as a street in Brooklyn that she used to spend a lot of time in as a teenager. Nonetheless, the 22-year-old's last name might be a mouthful for some folks. In the Most Requested Live segment, the pop star decided to school viewers on how to pronounce her last name.
