One of Mother Teresa’s Last Letters Gives Stirring Message on How to Love

Less than two months before her death, Mother Teresa composed a thoughtful reply to a request for her autograph. In it she states, “More important than autograph is what we do for Jesus and through Him for others.”

She invites the man who made the request to “look around and see — there are so many in the world who are lonely, unwanted, who have no one to call their own — may be in our own home” and ultimately encourages him to “be the sunshine of God’s love to your own — for this is where our love for each other must start.”
