The List Of Thanksgiving/Black Friday Store Hours

Want to shop on Thanksgiving? More and more people are doing it, and it looks like a lot of the major department stores know it, but for some reason are opting out of it this year. 

A growing number of stores are going to remain closed on Thanksgiving this year, bucking the super-early opening trend from the past few years. Other stores – including some of the nation’s largest retailers – will be open on Thanksgiving with early Black Friday hours. Here's a look at some of Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours from BestBlackFriday.com.

Target will be open from 6 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving before reopening at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.

Kohl’s will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, an hour earlier than last year’s start time, and remain open throughout Black Friday.

JC Penney is opening at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and remain open until 10 p.m. on Black Friday.

Belk will open Thanksgiving at 4 p.m. and close Black Friday at 1 a.m. before reopening that morning at 6 a.m. Belk will close at 10 p.m. on Black Friday.

Bass Pro Shops will be open on Thanksgiving from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Stores will reopen on Black Friday at 5 a.m.

Three major retailers we're still waiting on

Best Buy and Walmart haven't announce their Thanksgiving/Black Friday hours yet. Toys R Us hasn't announced its holiday schedule yet, either.
