Say What? Bella & Gigi Hadid Have A Cousin Who Is A Plus-Size Model

Bella and Gigi Hadid's names are in the headlines this week, but it's not for what you think. It just so happens that the sisters have an undiscovered cousin, who is also a model, or at least an up and coming model, and the reveal has the blogosphere buzzing.
18-year-old Joann van den Herik is the daughter of one of Yolanda Hadid's siblings and has just signed on as a plus-size model with 12+ UK Model Management. You might not have seen or heard of Joann because she's actually from Holland. Still, if you take a look at her Instagram account, it looks like she is indeed close to Bella and Gigi. You'll also notice that the budding model takes a very forward approach when it comes to body positivity. Just read up on a recent caption of a photo of her in her underwear.
"I was afraid to post this picture and that's why I did post it," she wrote. "I could've cropped it so you wouldn’t see any fat, but I didn’t. I wanted to show you guys that I'm imperfect too. I have fat rolls, I have stretch marks. It’s so easy to look in the mirror and feel disgusted by the things you don’t like, but I don’t want to do that anymore. I don't wanna hide my 'ugly' side, I want to show it more often, because I've accepted it. I love my body. Guys and girls, it doesn’t matter if you don't have a six-pack, or a size zero [body]. You're just as beautiful as everyone."
