Sarah Hyland's "Naked" Instagram Post Has Pissed Fans OFF

You know how some celebrities just ignore it when fans flip out about them doing the most normal stuff?

Yeah, Sarah Hyland is not one of those celebrities.

This time the Modern Family actor is calling out a follower who dropped into her Instagram inbox after Hyland posted a loved-up selfie with her new boyfriend - and she is taking absolutely no prisoners.

"You can go out with whoever you want," the screenshotted direct message read. "But there are limits.

"Do not you know that some private things, must stay private, and not be shared with the whole world.

"KEEP YOUR SEXUAL LIFE PRIVATE, we do not necessarily need to know all the details of your personal life."

For anyone who didn't catch it first time around, may we present the offending photo:

Prefacing her rant with the clarification that she wasn't "putting her on blast", Hyland then went on a multi-paged ramble defending her relationship and her decision to broadcast it across social media.

"She just brought to my attention that that picture I posted might have been inappropriate since we're in bed," part of her message read.

"I've made the mistake in the past on being way too open and talking way too much about them. This time is different. It's special.

"And I will share what I [deem] 'appropriate' on social media because I still want you all to be updated."

The 26-year-old wasn't quite done though.

"ONE MORE THING! I just realised I'm being criticised for being naked... which you don't even know if I am!

"You can barely see any skin but it's OK for Instagram models to roll around in the sand ACTUALLY naked?

"I know I don't need to explain myself and I do ignore 'haters'... I think I really just LOVE a good clapback."

So do we, Sarah. So do we.
