The internet has brutally dragged Paris Hilton for claiming that she and Britney Spears "invented the selfie" 11 years ago.

The socialite turned DJ tweeted out her invention claims and followers then began replying to her tweet with countless photos of others photographing themselves dating back to the 1800s 📸😩📸
