Man Captures Family Of Goats Easily Leaping Over Gap Between Mountains

Mountain goats are some of the most amazing animals on earth.

Although we might not readily think of goats as particularly agile, the goats that live up in the mountains are practically the Olympic gymnasts of the great outdoors.

From scaling mountains and cliffs (even ones that appear to form 90-degree angles) to jumping over gaps twice their size, it seems like there’s nothing a goat can’t do.

The video below showcases some seriously agile goats leaping a huge gap in the mountains — and it’s a gap that looks like it falls down forever. Both sides of the gap are rocky, mountainous terrain on which I would struggle to get any footing at all.

But such terrain isn’t a problem at all for the family of six brave goats, and they don’t even seem all that fazed by the massive, gaping hole between them and their destination (a steep mountainside).

The older goats at the front of the pack have no problem hopping the gap. The littlest goat is last to make the jump, and he does hesitate for a minute, but I can’t blame him. Still, he lands the jump without so much as a wobble!
