H&M Criticized For Racism Over 'Coolest Monkey In The Jungle' Hoodie Ad

Charlamange Tha God awards clothing chain H&M 'Donkey Of The Day' for January, 8th, 2018 for using a black child in their advertisements to model a sweatshirt that said "Coolest Monkey In The Jungle." For the culturally clueless, the term monkey has been used for years to degrade black people. While Charlamange doesn't believe H&M was being purposefully racist, it shows how out of touch and tone deaf the marketing department in these major companies can be to let something like this slide.

H&M has since apologized for the advertisement and has removed it from their website.

These corporations need to stop talking about being diverse and actually be diverse.
