Kauffman Stadium Announces First Concert In Nearly 40 Years

For the first time in nearly 40 years Kansas City's Kauffman Stadium will play host to a large scale concert. 

Billy Joel will headline Kauffman's first concert since 1979 on Friday, September 21st. The last time the stadium hosted a concert it was known simply as Royals Stadium and hosted a bill comprised of Santana, REO Speedwagon, the Little River Band and Pat Travers.

Ticket prices range from $49 to $149.50 and go on sale January 26. You can buy tickets on Live Nation's website here.
