Can I get a selfie? Ryan McKenna, the teen who went viral for taking a selfie with Justin Timberlake during the Super Bowl halftime show, hit the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet at The Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 11, and took selfies with music’s biggest artists and celebs including Ne-Yo and Adam DeVine.
“Hey everyone I’m super excited tomorrow I am going to be at the #iheartawards2018 and taking selfies on the red carpet — who should I take a selfie with FIRST?!?👀❤️🎵🏆#iheartawards @iheartradio,” Ryan teased on Instagram before hitting the red carpet.
The teen previously explained that he wasn’t unfazed during JT’s halftime performance but that he wanted to capitalize on the once-in-a-lifetime moment.
"I just thought to myself, ‘I’ll never get this opportunity again in my whole life,'” Ryan told local reports after the moment went viral last month, explaining that he was recording a video when he went to switch it to photo mode. “I just went for it.”

When "selfie kid" introduces himself to you as "selfie kid" and asks if he can take a selfie with you... You take the selfie. @iHeartRadio Awards pic.twitter.com/hSag27Ixq3
