Alice Cooper nailed it in Jesus Christ Superstar!

Alice Cooper absolutely NAILED it in last night's live version of Jesus Christ Superstar on NBC. He KILLED it!  (ok, I'll stop.) 

This was the second time he played King Herod. The first time was audio only in 1996 when he recorded King Herod's song for the soundtrack to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar. 

22 years later he does it again and this time it's not just audio... it's live on national TV and it was the best part of the whole thing. He received one of two standing ovations and after the performance was done, the audience all wanted their picture with him.
