2008 was an incredible year for music. Kanye West brought us hits like “Love Lockdown” and "Heartless" from 808s & Heartbreak, Britney Spears took us to the Circus, and the Jonas Brothers didn't make fans wait A Little Bit Longer. The album, released on August 12, 2008, soared to the top of the charts within weeks. The title track, written by Nick Jonas, was inspired by his struggles with Type 1 diabetes. It's an emotional ballad of strength and encouragement, mixed in with thirteen otherwise upbeat tunes.

This week, iHeartRadio is highlighting albums turning ten years old in 2018, and this one holds a special place in our hearts. We've rounded up ten facts about the JoBros' third studio album. So Jonas Brothers fans, read up as you remain hopeful that the reunion rumors are true.

1. Nick wrote "A Little Bit Longer" in twenty minutes.

While filming Camp Rock in Canada, Nick sat in an empty ballroom at a baby grand piano. Twenty minutes later, the title track was complete and he was performing it for others on set.

2. Big Rob's for real.

Beloved security guard Robert Feggans was able to add rapper to his resumé after hopping on a verse in "Burnin' Up." Not only was he in the music video, he also joined the Jonas Brothers onstage. Remember these words to live by, "Big Rob's for real, and that's no lie."

3. The album's fourth single, "Tonight," was deemed "pandemically infectious."

Whether or not "pandemically" is a made up word, USA Today reporter Ken Barnes was spot on with this description.

4. DNCE's manager has a writing credit on "Tonight."

Greg Garbowsky was the Jonas Brothers' bassist before he became DNCE's manager. He's also written for some of their other albums, Nick's solo project, The Veronicas, Babyface, and more.

5. Their 48 city "Burnin' Up Tour" grossed $41 million.

When will your faves ever? To promote their upcoming album, Joe, Nick, and Kevin hit the road for their fifth concert tour in July of 2008.

6. Taylor Swift was a guest on the tour.

Taylor Swift joined the Jonas Brothers onstage at Madison Square Garden to perform "Should've Said No" which ended up in the 3D movie released in early 2009. She also briefly appears in the music video for "Love Is On Its Way," which is also in the movie.

7. Camilla Belle and Selena Gomez also had something to do with the album.

Camilla Belle plays the romantic interest in the music video for "Lovebug," which was inspired by The Notebook.

Selena Gomez stands by Nick's side in the video for "Burnin' Up."

8. They bought the album in Times Square at midnight on album release day.

RIP Virgin Megastore.
