Genius Dad Rigs Rowing Machine To Power His Kids’ Video Games

Today's kids have it so hard. They're forced to choose between exercise and video games, usually opting for the latter.

But one genius dad found a way to get his kids to do both, plus cutting down his electric bills all at the same time.

Jeremy Fielding hooked up a rowing machine to a generator and his kids' video game console to the generator. The result: the kids have to exercise to power the games.

Fielding says he intentionally put a small capacity on the battery so games can't be played for more than a minute without activity.
