It’s always great to hear about another one of our favorite celebrities being awarded for their talents. When it comes to receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it’s almost like you’re there in L.A. with them, as you look at photos of them smiling and accepting the monumental honor.

However, there are some famous faces who’ve yet to be honored with a star themselves, and they’ve earned one! (Someone needs to tell their fans and their teams to get on that, FR.) Let’s take a look at some of these celebs here. Hopefully, their legacy will soon show that they deserve one, too.

1. Kanye West

Kanye is one of the biggest superstars on the planet. Starting off as a producer, as he looked up to his big brother figure JAY-Z, Ye would later become one of the most respected rappers in the game. Every last one of his eight studio albums have gone platinum at least once. Plus, he’s sold over 32 million albums and 100 million digital downloads around the world. This guy more than deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

2. JAY-Z

JAY-Z has gone from being one of the top five rappers -- dead or alive -- to reaching mogul status. From previously serving as the president of Def Jam Records, formerly co-founding and owning Roc-A-Fella Records and Roc-A-Wear, to partially owning the infamous entertainment destination of the Barclays Center, the 40/40 Club, founding and running Roc Nation, having his own Armand de Brignac champagne and more; JAY-Z is proof that he isn’t a businessman, but a business, man. The music/entertainment world wouldn’t be the same without him.

3. Oprah

Oprah is a megaforce in the entertainment industry. The mogul came from humble beginnings, as she pushed her way to the top over the course of the last 40 plus years. Starting off as a broadcast journalist in the 1970s, Oprah would grow into a journalism/entertainment titan. From her hit talk show, to OWN Productions, O Magazine and more; Oprah transformed herself into a powerhouse. Might we add that she also became a self-made billionaire, thanks to her business ventures? Yes, Oprah is a queen.

4. Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston had the best voice of her generation. WIth hits such as "I Will Always Love You," "Exhale," "Where Do Broken Hearts Go," "My Love Is Your Love," "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," "I Have Nothing," Houston was a living legend. She would also become the most award-winning female artist of all time with over 415 awards received from the Grammys, American Music Awards, Oscars, and more. This star definitely deserves a star.

5. Beyoncé

Nobody breaks records like Queen Bey. It seems like one week doesn’t go by without the recording artist reaching another milestone that no other person walking as ever touched. She recently became the first black woman to headline Coachella, became the high-paid black recording artist of all time, became the first black woman to win the ASCAP's Pop Songwriter of the Year Award and SO much more. Where’s her star?!

6. Prince

The Purple One most definitely deserves to have a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. He forever transformed the way that music was created forever and the industry owns him so much because of it. Rolling Stone previously placed him at No. 27 on the list of the top 100 artists of all time. Prince was also inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004. He would go on to become one of the highest-selling artists of all time with over 100 million albums sold worldwide.

7. Missy Elliott

Missy Elliott hasn’t gotten her just due, over the years. From the very first second that she stepped out onto the scene, Elliott has claimed a position as one of the most influential female artists in the industry. With her incredible skills in songwriting, producing, directing, singing, rapping and dancing; this star deserves a star ASAP. Elliott will forever be one of the queens of the music industry. Bow down to her.

8. Spike Lee

Spike Lee has never been shy about being the voice of change. He’s used his critically-acclaimed movies such as She's Gotta Have It and Do The Right Thing to speak out about race relations and political issues in the United States. This is something that isn’t doing very often by figures in the movie industry. So, Lee should be celebrated for being brave enough to do so. He’s change how people view America and many of its citizens through his art. That’s what a true influencer and artist does.

9. Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington is, without a doubt, one of the biggest, most respected actors that the world has ever known. Yet, he still doesn’t have a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, either. This is mind-blowing when you really sit down and think about it. Washington has acted in over 50 movies and plays, through his career that’s spanned over 40 years. During this time, the talent has won numerous honors, including two Academy awards. Every last one of his films have changed the thought process and consciousness of society for the better. The world becomes a much better place after a new Denzel Washington project drops.

10. Will Smith

Will Smith is another talent who deserves much more respect in the entertainment industry that he’s help thrive. Starting off as a rapper in the 1980s, Smith transformed into a jack of all trades. Yes, he’s one of the top actors in the world. But, he’s also a mega producer and director in the game, as well. Smith’s movies also do something to our spirits everytime we see one. Like Denzel Washington, Smith is one of the few stars who positively impact the world with his projects. Society owes this guy a great deal.

11. Carrie Fisher

Here’s another woman who hasn’t gotten her just due in the entertainment field. Born in Los Angeles, California; the actress’ icon roles as Princess Leia in Star Wars and its many sequels would make her shoot up to fame. As many of us already know, Star Wars is one of the most popular movies ever created. Fisher most definitely should be awarded with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame because of the role she was a part of that helped make Sci-Fi such the huge movie genre it is today.

12. Brad Pitt

What’s with these top actors not getting their just due? Brad Pitt is yet another super talent who doesn’t have a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Pitt is another iconic actor -- and producer -- who more than deserves such an honor as this. Having a career that spans for over 30 years, which is a tough milestone to achieve for the majority of people in the business, Pitt has starred in dozens of movies in his career and each one is always better than the last. Oscar award-winning Pitt is the truth and should be seen as such.

13. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie has dominated the entertainment from the minute that she first stepped onto the screen. The thespian has starred in over 46 films in her decades-long career. And with each performance, eyes aren’t able to look away from her undeniable talent. The beauty is truly skilled at her craft and anyone watching her work can’t deny that. One of the sort after actresses in the business, Jolie represents for women who want to be respected equally for their talent and nothing else. The star is this thought personified.

14. Leonardo DiCaprio

Then, we have Mr. Leonardo DiCaprio. The entertainer sure has come a very long way from Titanic. But, even so, DiCaprio was deserving of much respect. He’s showed off his impressive chops in dozens of diverse movies and TV shows, and has won countless awards in the process. Leo has more than earned a star on the Walk Of Fame. The movie industry just wouldn’t be the same without such a performer as him.

15. Julia Roberts

The one and only Julia Roberts needs to be praised for her phenomenal work in the entertainment business, as well. Yes, her acting is top notch. Roberts’ fame actually grew after she starred in the 1990 movie Pretty Woman. And as they say, the rest is movie history. Roberts’ starpower would soar into space, as she became the highest-paid actress in the 1990s and the first half of the 2000s. Roberts is another example of women in the game who demand as much respect and recognition for their art. And we’re here for it every step of the way.

16. George Clooney

George Clooney is one of the most accomplished stars in Hollywood. The Oscar award-winning actor has been such a sought-out entertainer because of his dynamic way of capturing the audience, who watches him work on the screen. Clooney truly is a one-of-a-kind star in our generation. So, it’s very surprising that he also doesn’t have his very own star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame? We mean, who exactly are getting these honors before such a talented performer like Clooney? That just doesn’t add up to us.

17. Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen is one of the biggest rock artists to ever walk the earth. Before his fame, Springsteen world see Elvis Presley performing on “The Ed Sullivan Show” and knew immediately afterward what he wanted to be in the world. And he did just that! The Doctor would go on to have an incredible career for the next 40 plus years. With hit albums such as Born To Run and Born In The U.S.A., Springsteen would sell over 140 millions records worldwide. This makes him one of the highest-selling artists of all time. After all, people don’t call him The Boss for no reason.
