Megan Fox Mom-Shamed For Instagram Post Of Her Sons At The Beach

Megan Fox isn't only a celebrity, she's also a mom. And like many mothers, she enjoys sharing photos of her kids on Instagram, but unlike most moms, when Megan does it she opens herself up to getting shamed, and that's just what happened with her latest post. The Transformers star put up an innocent shot of her five-year-old son Noah and four-year-old son Bodhi sitting in folding chairs at the beach. The boys are both wearing wet suits with their long hair nearly dry after some time in the ocean. She captioned the pic "Babes" and while many of her followers commented on how adorable her children were, some chose to instead shade Megan.

Apparently, there are people out there who take issue with boys having long hair:

Plenty of fans stood up for Megan, pointing out that there is nothing wrong with boys having long hair, but sadly, mom-shaming is nothing new to Fox. Last year she made headlines for *gasp* letting her son wear a dress. 

She explained to Media Planet why she is open to allowed her kids wear whatever clothes and styles they want saying: 

"When I became pregnant with Noah, I could feel, through my mother's intuition I suppose, that he was not subscribing to gender stereotypes, so I decided to provide an environment for him early on that would allow him to discover how he wanted to express himself."
