Amazon Purchases Pill Delivery Startup PillPack

Amazon is buying medication delivery startup PillPack for just under $1 billion dollars.  

The move signals Amazon is ready to make an entrance into the pharmacy industry, though it's not clear yet just what Amazon plans for the pill delivery service. 

PillPack features user friendly packaging of medicines, and the company generated more than $100 million in revenue last year.

PillPack reportedly was in talks with Walmart before the Amazon purchase was announced.
