Paparazzi Asks Selena Gomez About Bieber Engagement: See Her Reaction

We've heard what insiders had to say about Selena Gomez's response to Justin Bieber's engagement to Hailey Baldwin, but her in-person reaction to a paparazzi asking about her former flame is probably more telling.

On Tuesday (July 10), TMZ shared footage of Gomez out and about in the streets of New York City on Monday night, where a paparazzi asked the star if she had any comment on Bieber's weekend proposal to Baldwin. In a brief clip, the star is seen leaving a building with friends and security, entirely ignoring the question on everyone's mind. Without saying anything, she hopped in the van, shut the door and offered up nothing but silence on the matter. Click here to see the video!

"Selena doesn't care. She's over Justin and the last time they broke up allowed her to get over him fully," a source close to the star told Us Weekly after the news of Bieber and Baldwin's engagement broke. "Anytime he has done this in the past, Selena doesn’t even see stories about him in the media. Her team makes sure she is protected from it, so it's a waste of time on Justin's end if that's his goal. No one in her circle speaks about him when they are on the outs and she keeps her circle and team very small."

If true, it's likely Gomez hasn't heard word that Bieber favored tradition in the engagement by asking Stephen Baldwin for Hailey's hand in marriage before popping the question during their Bahamas vacation.
