Uber Releases Beacon, Light Up Feature for Riders

Uber has released a new technology, Beacon, a light up mount that connects drivers with their riders by flashing a custom light. 

After a ride has been confirmed, the rider will be able to choose a color that will light up on the driver's dashboard once they've arrived to their destination. The new feature should bring ease to users especially at night and in crowded areas. 

Uber also added other features that make the ride-sharing experience less stressful. You can quickly communicate with your driver by using Pickup Messages and ride scheduling.
