Priyanka Chopra's Mom Made The Sweetest Comments About Nick Jonas

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas finally confirmed their engagement last week with gorgeous photos from their Roka Ceremony in India. Their engagement announcement and subsequent celebration was the first time Nick and Priyanka's families met, as well. Everything seemed to go well because Priyanka's mom, Madhu Chopra, said the sweetest things about Nick Jonas during an interview with India's Daily News and Analysis. She even opened up about how really she really feels about her daughter's swift engagement to the 25-year-old singer. 

Madhu described Nick as "calm and mature," as well as saying, "he’s a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him." One of the reasons the Chopra's are so taken with Nick? His manners. "He’s so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want?” Aw, that is seriously so sweet. 

The fact that Madhu is so fond of Nick probably helps her understand why Priyanka was so eager to marry her boyfriend of two months.  “I always trust Priyanka’s judgment; she’s not impulsive," Madhu explained. "She gave it a lot of thought and when she decided on something, I was sure it would be good.”

For those who have been speculating that Nick and Priyanka would be marrying any time soon, Madhu shut those rumors down. “They haven’t decided on a wedding date yet. It’s too soon. These are just baseless rumors. Both of them have work commitments right now which they need to finish. They will take some time to decide where they want it and when they want it."

She also confirmed that yes, Nick and Priyanka will most likely have a traditional Indian wedding. “My daughter knew I wanted a roka before the marriage, so she never said ‘no,’" she said. "I haven’t forced any of my thoughts on her, but I definitely want a traditional Indian wedding. That’s my only wish."

 It's so great to see the Chopra and Jonas families coming together with so much love. Congratulations once again to the happy couple!
