Ariana Grande Obliterates Sports Blog Who Made Fun Of Pete Davidson's Eyes

Ariana Grande isn't taking any crap these days, especially when it comes down to her whirlwind romance with fiancé Pete Davidson.

On Thursday night (August 23), sports blog @barstoolsports worked some serious journalism into their schedule with a big question: "Does Pete Davidson have butthole eyes?" Even though they didn't tag the comedian or the pop star, Grande got wind of the message and fired back, writing, "Y'all do kno this man has an auto immune disease ...... right? ..... like you do understand what you're doing when u do this right? jus wanna make sure." 

Fans of Davidson know that the SNL star has struggled with Crohn's disease for years and spoke out about the diagnosis in an interview with High Times. "I got Crohn's disease when I was 17 or 18," he admitted. "My stomach would be in pain all day and I wouldn't be able to eat… I'm sick, I have Crohn's … so it sucks." While Grande's inclination to defend her fiancé is admirable, Dr. Albert Knapp, a top gastroenterologist in New York City, told the NY Post that her logic was actually incorrect. "The reason they’re sunken is because people with Crohn's disease can sometimes become dehydrated," Dr. Knapp said. "But when you rehydrate they return to normal. Crohn’s disease does not directly cause eyes that look sunken in. There's no direct correlation between Crohn's disease and sunken eyes."

Nonetheless, Grande has happier things to focus on like Sweetener debuting at the top of the upcoming Billboard 200 albums chart. After Scooter Braun broke the news, Grande hopped back on Twitter to thank all of her fans. "ik these things don’t really matter but i am over the moon grateful n i just want to thank u for all ur warmth n for receiving this project w such love," she wrote.
