It seems like every time BTS release something new they break another record, and their latest video is no exception.
The K-Pop phenoms dropped the third and final installment of their Love Yourself series, Love Yourself: Answer, on Friday (August 24) and celebrated the release by also revealing the visuals for for the album's latest single, "Idol." As with most things the boy band releases, the music video has been racking up views. In fact, it received enough hits in its first 24 hours to break Taylor Swift's record.
Thanks in part to BTS' fanatic ARMY, the clip garnered over 56.2 million views in its first day (it has 61.8 million views at time of writing), surpassing Swift's record of 43.2 million views made by her "Look What You Made Me Do" video, which premiered during the VMAs last August.

Love Yourself: Answer follows Love Yourself: Her and Love Yourself: Tear. The third album in the trilogy comprises 25 songs, some of which were on the other records, including "Her" and "Fake Love;" remixed versions of fan-favorites "DNA," "Fake Love" and "Mic Drop," and six new tracks: "Trivia 轉: Seesaw," "Trivia 起: Just Dance," "Trivia 承: Love," "Answer: Love Myself," "I'm Fine" and "Idol."
On Saturday (August 25), BTS kick off their Love Yourself world tour, which sees the septet make history yet again by becoming the first Korean act to play at a U.S. stadium.
