Fans won’t see Michael Ketterer at Garth Brooks’ upcoming concert at Notre Dame after all.

In the wake of Ketterer’s recent arrest for domestic violence, the America’s Got Talent finalist will no longer perform during the first-ever concert at the Indiana football stadium, Garth revealed during his most recent episode of Inside Studio G. “Let’s address the Michael Ketterer situation,” he told fans watching. “I called him this weekend. We talked, and we decided that it was better that he not appear at Notre Dame and perform there. That family, they will figure it out and they will find it within themselves, but Michael Ketterer will not be at Notre Dame.”

Ketterer was involved in an altercation with his wife in their Hollywood hotel room one day after the AGT finale. He was charged with domestic violence with a bond set at $50,000. Simon Cowell had commissioned Garth to write “The Courage to Love” for the Ketterer, who performed the song during the America’s Got Talent finale.

Garth is set to perform at Notre Dame on October 20.
